This month marks 14 exciting years of Cohost!

If you didn't know, here's the scoop: Jewel Briggs (with the love and support of her husband, Marcus) started Cohost in 2010 after developing the catering program for Cuba Libre, previously a landmark spot on Henderson. Realizing she could combine her love of the food & beverage industry with her entreprenurial spirit, Jewel hit the ground running. Catering from restaurants- what a concept! The best food paired with the best event service anytime, anywhere. It all began with one restaurant partner and one client. It was an instant hit and Cohost was born.

Since 2010, Cohost has worked with nearly 100 beloved restaurants in Dallas, countless chefs, thousands of clients, and dozens of talented & passionate employees. We are especially grateful to our longstanding partners & friends, at Dive Coastal Cuisine, Slow Bone BBQ, Urban Taco, Pie Tap, HG Sply Co, Meso Maya, TJ's Seafood & One90 Smoked Meats. These restaurants are a cornerstone of our success.

In 2017, Marcus Briggs spearheaded the creation of the Cohost Rentals division and allowed us to be an even bigger blessing to our clients by adding a whole new dimension of service. Our collection continues to grow and we are so excited to be forming new and lasting partnerships with other industry professionals. What began as tables and chairs has expanded to include just about anything you would need to dress and equip an event from the floor up.

Our latest venture, Cohost Bar, came to fruition last year. After much paperwork, perseverence and pouring our hearts into the creation of our bar program, we got our liquor license (woot woot!)! Curated selections of wine, beer, bubbly and signature and custom cocktails now grace our client proposals.

We are so lucky to work in an exciting and close-knit industry of talented professionals and exceptional clients. When you get to do what you love for work, every day is cause for celebration.
